AWATON-300 AIS is a new AIS transponder for use on buoys and beacons，combining proven AIS technology. AWATON-300 AIS broadcasts the aids-to-navigation AIS message,  Message21.It also automatically monitors correct operation of the light and power supply，and tracks buoy position. Serial ports allow other equipment such as weather sensors, or tide gauges, to input data for transfer over the AIS network, using AIS message 6 、8 or 14.With the mandatory carriage of AIS by SOLAS vessels, and the smaller bulk and lower power drain of AWATON -300 AIS, it is the logical choice to replace expensive and power-hungry racons on modern aids-to-navigation.

 

AWATON-300 AIS Transponder complies with all ITU and IALA requirements for AIS messages from aids-to-navigation.

 

This product can be used in Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ aviation standard. The power supply of this product is 12V.Under III and FATDMA, the energy consuming is about 2 per day. There are 8 serial ports which can be configured by user.
